Carlo Brunelli is a contemporary artist exploring relationships between people, place and the living world.

Through paintings, installations and participatory environments, he creates conditions where colour, matter, time and human experience can meet.

His practice begins with a relationship.

A relationship with a landscape, a community, a material, a space or a specific place.

Rather than imposing a predetermined form, Brunelli often works through processes that allow natural forces, human participation and the identity of a place to become active contributors to the work itself.

Water, air, heat, gravity and time are not simply materials.

They are collaborators in a process of transformation.

His work moves fluidly between contemporary art, design, nature and human experience.

For some people, a painting becomes the first thing they see in the morning.

For others, it becomes a place to pause, reflect, remember or simply feel something.

This is where his idea of Art to Live With begins.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Soave, near Verona, Italy, in 1975, Carlo Brunelli grew up in close relationship with nature and diverse cultural influences, experiences that continue to inform his artistic practice.

After studying Industrial Design in Padua and completing a Master’s degree in Automotive Design in the United Kingdom, he worked internationally in design and creative direction.

Over time, his focus shifted from commercial design towards a more open artistic practice centred on process, place and human experience.

In 2020 he founded the Carlo Brunelli Project Space in Verona, dedicating himself fully to contemporary art.

In 2023 he founded wʌn - We Art Nature, An evolving platform where art, nature and human experience meet.

Through immersive experiences, participatory projects and artistic environments, wʌn explores ways of reconnecting people with themselves, each other and the living world.

Today his work includes paintings, installations and collaborative projects presented in galleries, public spaces and site-specific contexts in Italy and abroad.
